APPLICATIONS

AMSOIL Long Life Synthetic Gear Lube is suitable for a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including domestic and imported over-the-road trucks, light to heavy trucks, off-road machinery, commercial vehicles, motor homes, SUVs, emergency response vehicles, buses, delivery vans, and tractors.

It works in differentials, manual transmissions, and other gear setups meeting standards like API GL-5 & MT-1, MIL-PRF-2105E, Dana SHAES 234 & 256 (formerly Eaton PS-037 & PS-163), Dana SHAES 429A, Mack GO-J & GO-J+, Meritor 0-76N & 0-80, as well as ZF TE-ML 07A and 08 specifications from manufacturers such as GM, Ford, and Daimler Chrysler. It also suits rear axles requiring API GL-4 lubricants.

Vocational/Delivery | Follow OEM intervals up to 120,000 miles or three years, whichever occurs first

Heavy Duty Off-Road | Follow OEM intervals up to 100,000 miles or two years, whichever occurs first

For other gear uses, check manual or OEM intervals; when unavailable, replace at twice the interval of conventional oils.

Note: This product is not recommended for extended drains if water contamination is present. Frequent checks are necessary in such conditions.

Closer oil change intervals may be needed in dusty or dirty environments unless protections such as sealed gear systems and specialized breathers are used.

COMPATIBILITYAMSOIL Long Life Synthetic Gear Lube is compatible with conventional gear oils, but mixing brands limits its extended drain benefits.

It works with most limited-slip differentials; if chatter occurs, use AMSOIL Slip-Lock friction modifier.
